Without [Integra x Eric x Seras]
It felt like years had passed since they had last seen Alucard. Below the main floors sat the coffin holding that last vigil of the great vampire's existence. Seras was close to Integra, a bodyguard if you will. Meanwhile, Eric became the shadow of the manor. He and Seras were nearly what you would have if you split Alucard down the middle, but neither vampire should be shrugged off as simple.
It was a moonless night as Eric and Seras sat outside of Integra's private quarters. Seras sat on Eric's lap while he had one arm draped lazily around her waist while the other played through her hair. Her head rested lightly back on his shoulder. "Do you think he will come back?" Seras whispered.
"Mmm..." Eric mumbled in a soft affirmative. Every night their conversation was the same. Every morning their light encounter ended the same, with Seras standing to assist Integra with the day, and Eric sinking through the floor to patrol the grounds like death itself. Time had changed them all, whether any of them cared to admit it. Alucard's disappearance had etched a great hole in their existence; all of them. Even Integra.
